Decidedly With Baby is now live!

One-Night Stand Rule #1: always check the condom’s expiry date.

Oops.

Career-orientated Holly Whittaker has a plan, and being a mom is not part of it. Her not-quite-a-fairy-tale childhood involved being brought up by thirty nannies (yes, thirty!), so what the heck does she know about being a mom anyway?

Playboy Josh Hoffer has no room in his life for a family or steady girlfriend. His hockey career comes first. Life is tough when you’re on the road more times than you’re not. Besides, what does he know about diapers and baby yoga and fairy-tale princesses?

After Holly receives some unexpected bad news, she’s looking to blow off a little steam, and hot sex with Mr. No Commitment himself fits the bill just fine. But sex is never without consequences, and this time it’s more than her heart that is at stake. This time, Mr. No Commitment and Ms. Career need to figure out what’s really important to them and find room in their heart for another—plus one.

Chapter 1

Holly

Sex—it was a life-altering event. From the time your hormones came to life and encouraged you to get laid, you were pretty much screwed.

It was a bargaining chip.

A stress reliever.

Some girls needed to love the guy in order to do the deed. Others were only in it for a good time; commitment wasn’t in the books.

Sometimes it rocked one’s world.

Other times you wondered why you had even bothered—the guy had no idea how to make a woman come. Unfortunately, they didn’t wear a warning label.

They really should.

And sometimes sex came with consequences. The kind of consequences that started with you in the bathroom, the peed-on pregnancy test doing its thing next to you on the counter.

There it was, by the sink as I finished washing my hands. My life? Now at the mercy of a frigging piece of plastic.

If there was ever a time to fail at something, this would be it. Except, when had I ever failed at anything I did?

Never. That was when.

Romantic Read of the Week

On a whim last year, I picked up Tough Luck Hero by Maisey Yates at the local pharmacy, and I quickly fell in love with her Copper Ridge heroes. While I never thought that I would love books about cowboys, Maisey proved me wrong. Her characters, stories, and writing will just lasso you in. I’ve since then bought several of her books from the series.

And I’ve loved every single one of them.

Mr. No Commitment himself is about to find out.

Oops.

Giveaway is international and ends Friday August 4th.

Romantic Read of the Week

If you’re looking for an author who writes great romantic comedies, look no further than Lauren Blakely. She has a zabillion books out (including some YA novels under a different name), but her romantic comedies are by far my favorites. Unfortunately for me, she’s VERY prolific and publishes a new book every two months. So, I’m a little behind on reading them all, but her last book, The Knocked Up Plan, jumped to the top of my TBR list the day it came out.

And I didn’t regret it for a moment.

Like all her romantic comedies, it’s sexy and funny. I couldn’t put it down. If you love friends-to-lover romances and pregnancy (or secret baby) romances, I highly recommend it.

Bad-boy rocker Jared Leigh is about to meet the biggest challenge of his life…his deaf son.

hj_toppick-300x85

In a poignant romance from the author of This One Moment (“Hot, intense, and filled with emotion.”—Rachel Harris), the rock stars of Pushing Limits have hit the big time. But fame gets tough when love presents a fork in the road.

At twenty-one, Jared Leigh had been prepared to give up the life of a touring musician to be a father after getting his girlfriend pregnant. When she told him that she’d gotten an abortion, Jared was devastated. Now at least he has the groupies to keep him company—until a blast from the past rocks his world.

Callie Talbert hasn’t seen her sister’s ex since high school. But after Callie bumps into Jared while she’s grocery shopping with four-year-old Logan, there’s a spark that wasn’t there before. Jared quickly realizes that her deaf “son” is the same age his own child would have been. When Jared demands to know more about Logan, Callie panics. There are thing she just can’t tell him. Besides, Jared’s a bad-boy rocker, not a dependable father figure. He’ll move on to his next gig soon enough . . . right?

Trouble is, Jared refuses to be pushed away, and the more quality time he spends with Logan, the more he’s captivated by the woman Callie has become. When the truth is revealed, Jared only hopes that the three of them have what it takes to become a real family.
